As a newly assigned administrator to MS OfficeI have observed the assignment of "Limited Access" permission level to members in the system created group when files were shared directly to group members which then preempts their normally assigned permission level Edit and prevents them from being able to use the Edit functions.

Our startup company's SharePoint site development has been suspended until I can figure out how to remove the "Limited Access" permissions.
